Deterritorialisation inspires me as a concept. It allows me to create many photographs, most of which deal with the perception of a site that is not in fact the right one.

In Altered vision I give a new definition to a site by moving around it, allowing it to be seen from a new angle and stripped of its past history. In order to talk about deterritorialisation, it is important to understand the nuances of the word ‘territory’, as well as the different meanings of the terms ‘site’, ‘place’ and ‘space’.
